As director of manufacturing for Mexico, I participate on the development for the strategies to achieve the 2020-2024 business plan for the company. Some of those strategies deployed in México were:• Expansion for the plants in Cd Frontera and Cd Obregon • Closure of the Matehuala plant, relocating 100% of the running production lines to the plants in Cd Frontera and Cd Obregon without interrupting deliveries nor affecting customer.• Implementation of vertical integration processes to reduce the intercompany transportation, and reducing inventories at the manufacturing plants.• Transfer of the foam systems (FIP) from US to Mexico to eliminate the shipment of WIP to US habilitating Mexico operations to ship final product directly. This represented a direct impact on labor cost, cost of inventory and transportation.Other responsibilities:• Coordinate the engineering changes affecting México operations overseeing the activities deployed at each plant with the support of the engineering departments.• Program manager for the launch of the new products as Tier II.

In charge of launching the new facility in Ramos Arizpe Plant.• Selection of the optimal location and the Industrial developer (FINSA) for the new facility. • Initial recruitment for key positions, staffing the plant.• Identify all capital, primary and secondary equipment required to achieve a flawless launch.• Elaborate initial budget for the launch and a five years projection.• Identify all local, and federal requirements for the new site.• Initiate relationship with local union.

Launch Manager for all customers: GM, Chrysler, NISSAN, FORD, TOYOTA.Elaborate the capital appropriations requests and the launch expenses budgets.Manufacturability assessment of all the new products and its designs accordingly with the policies and procedures of the manufacturing plant.Elaborate the Bill of tools, secondary equipment and checking fixtures.Responsible of the BOM structures, its validation and proper set up into the information systems.Oversees the tryouts and pilot runs.Coordinate the PPAP activities with all the involved areas at the Manufacturing plant and the customer.

In charge of the readiness for the new facility of IAC ArteagaMain contact between building developer (MENCORSA) and IAC, to assure 100% corporate requirements are understood, evaluated and included on the program chart. Identify building facilities and coordinate its readinessDevelop initial layout and plant distribution for offices and services areas.Elaborate the capital appropriations requests for the new facility.Responsible to obtain state and county permits to operate new facility, along with the facilities contracts.

Manufacturability assessments of all new products designs, to ensure they comply with the policies and procedures at the manufacturing plant.Responsible of the elaborate of the capital appropriations requests and the launch expenses budgetsIn charge of the planning, validation and implementation of the new assembly lines, and the secondary equipment associate with the new processes.Responsible of the BOM structures, its validation and proper set up into the MRP / IT systems.Oversees the Injection mold capacity and its constraints.Coordinate the PPAP activities with all the involved areas at the Manufacturing plant and the customer.Participant on solving problems in several aspects of the operation such as finance, commercial, human resources, quality, design and engineeringIn charge of evaluate, plan and implement engineering changes affecting processes and products.In charge of the manufacturing strategies to improve plant capacities, floor space optimization and man power dependable operations reduction.Identification, validation and allocation of the labor -direct and indirect- required for an efficient function of the processes.In charge of the analysis of the material flows and its improvement.Responsible of the 2010MY & 2011MY launches, which involved a major refreshment CD3XX interior platform involving the Instrument Panel, doors, Consoles, Hard Trim & Soft Trim commodities.Implementation of productive and profitable process to achieve the plant financial goals.

- Elaborate required quality and process documentation for the Instrument Panel commodity.- Main contact between the Manufacturing Plant and the CD3 corporate platform based in Dearborn, Michigan (2002-2004).- Identify new suppliers and their logistic process.- Oversees the tryouts and pilot runs- Elaborate the RFQ for Secondary equipment and Gages for the Instrument Panel.

Responsible for the quality processes associated with the manufacturing of automotive assemblies for FCA Chrysler derramadero plant.Tracking and closure of all customer complaints, and all activities required to improve the quality indicators affecting FCA
