I am a highly motivated college student at Kansas State University. My primary major is mathematics and my secondary major is statistics. Currently, I am on the pre-graduate and actuarial track through the math department. In high school, I was a Kansas Governor Scholar which is awarded to the top 1% of all Kansas students. I finished with a 4.55 weighted GPA and a 4.00 unweighted GPA. This summer I attended the SUMSA program which is hosted at the University of Chicago by the Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Innovation. I developed several skills including academic collaboration, probability, abstract linear algebra, regression, and analysis. My current career interests are actuarial work, data science, or continuing my education by attending graduate school for math. I am open for part-time employment over the school year and internship opportunities next summer.
