Initiate Commerce created simple and easy to use software for online retailers. Our clients included national retailers and large electronics distributors. The company's software IP assets were acquired by CommerceHub.Designed, built, and launched ProductBlazer.com, a product discovery search engine that indexed the contents of tens of thousands of product catalogs from 50,000+ manufacturer's websites. Over 10,000 SMB retailers used ProductBlazer to discover new supplier relationships.Designed, built, and launched CatalogBlazer, a product content exchange that helped online retailers get products ready for sale quickly.Designed, built, and launched a "linked storefront" for one of the largest video game distributors in North America. The storefront integrated into the order management platform of the Army & Airforce Exchange System (AAFES), who was able to achieve more than $10 million in incremental product sales without any merchandising or order fulfillment expense.

Managed product roadmap, implementation, and ongoing operational management for a catalog management program for an IR Top 10 retailer. The program was directly responsible for enabling over 10,000 new products for sale online.

Self-taught Java developer. Participated in numerous software development projects, including as a member of a five-person team that developed and launched an online storefront that supported nearly 100% of QVC.com's sales of books, DVDs, and CDs for over five years.
