The research in my PhD project is about the dynamics of droplets during flight, impact and evaporation. This work is in close collaboration with Océ Technologies B.V. in Venlo, The Netherlands.

We are working on getting a better understanding of the bulk flow behavior of salt with 2-3 %wt water.

The BACO (Borrel- en Activiteitencommissie) is the largest comittee of S.V. Arago with about 10-15 members. We are responsible for or help out in most of the social events, which is about 60 per year. We provide graduation parties, drinks for the faculty and general social events.

S.V. Arago is the study association for applied physics at the university of Twente. During my year as board member, my position was treasurer.
