Vortex Capital Partners is a hands-on tech private equity fund with >€250m AuM. It invests in scalable, (digital) technology, small and medium sized, B2B companies within the Benelux. With its multidisciplinary team, Vortex can provide both capital and knowledge to facilitate value creation within its portfolio companies. Growth at its portfolio companies is further accelerated by pursuing a buy-and-build strategy where possible. During my tenure at Vortex, the team was managing around 10-20 investments. I was mainly involved in both the first buyout fund (€42m) and second buyout fund (€75m), which have been performing within the top 5 best buyout funds in Europe. I played a significant role in the scaling up and further professionalization of the Vortex organization (team grew from 5 to 15 FTE, AuM from €50m to >€250m).
