- Assist with implementation of Platte Valley Water Partnership (PVWP). - Near and long-term water supply planning, and water portfolio management. - Planning, design, and completion of projects associated with the District's water resources and conservation programs, and capital improvement projects.- Water resources master plan development.

- Led a conceptual design project for a desalination facility to reduce salinity in WISE water supplies.- Organized a subgroup to discuss approaches to a regional Aquifer Storage & Recovery (ASR) program. Obtained state funding for a groundwater modeling study to further refine the regional ASR concept.- Authored portions of the latest version of the SMWSA master plan. - Monitored the WISE water rate developed by Aurora Water.- Assisted with the qualified water efficient landscaper (QWEL) program and taught the first section of the class. - Developed a preliminary asset management tracking spreadsheet.

Financial consultant for water, wastewater and stormwater utilities, mainly in the rocky mountain region. Developing detailed financial plans, assigning revenue requirements to customer classes using cost of service principals, and designing rate structures. Calculating impact fees for new customers to contribute their equal share for capital infrastructure. Projects include:- Calculated the total cost of fees that the City of Westminster charges developers when constructing various building types (single family residential, apartment, vertical mixed use, office, etc.). Compared the City’s costs to the amounts that neighboring communities charge. - Developed water utility impact fees for the City of Norman, OK. Collected input from various stakeholder groups, and collaborated with the City’s engineering department to determine the appropriate level of capital improvements to be included in the impact fee. - Developed a financial plan and calculated impact fees for a greenfield water and wastewater metropolitan district in the east Denver metro area. - Calculated impact fees for Salt Lake City’s water, wastewater and stormwater utilities.- Presented "History of Strength Based Volumetric Wastewater Rates and Potential Benefits of Customer Class Consolidation" at WEFTEC 2019.

Water treatment design engineer in the water global practice. Completed projects include:- Authored a master plan for a local university, which evaluates the current and future hydraulic conditions of waterlines on the campus. - Evaluated a City's water and wastewater treatment facilities for potential cross-connections with the potable distribution system. - Authored a report which evaluates changes to a water treatment process, in order to improve the taste and odor of drinking water. Specifically, to reduce the concentration of geosmin and MIB. - Developed costs and feasible treatment solutions to reduce levels of arsenic from the process water effluent of a coal fired power plant. - Designed a deicing fluid collection system for a regional airport. - Authored a report describing various disinfectant alternatives for a pumping station.

Performed water treatment design and research for regional and area offices. Developed preliminary planning studies for rural communities, designed treatment systems and water lines for Federal facilities, contributed to large Federal water projects, project management and team lead experience. - Authored an appraisal planning study for the La Plata Water District.- Designed an ultrafiltration treatment system that provides potable water for the employees of New Melones Powerplant in California. - Participated as a Project Advisory Committee member on WateReuse Foundation (WRF) research projects, which funds high level research in the field of water reuse.

Performed field and pilot research to improve desalination technologies, including reducing its cost and environmental impact. Performed water quality sampling and analysis. - Conducted a study to enhance the rate of evaporation of saline water in evaporation ponds. - Operated a 100,000 gallon per day ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis treatment system in Gallup, NM, which treated wastewater effluent to potable standards. Operated the same unit in Neah Bay, WA; to provide desalinated water to the Makah Tribe in an emergency drought situation.
