Analytics And Ai ManagerVdab Jan 2016 - Dec 2018Brussels Area, BelgiumResponsible for founding the VDAB AI team and growing the team to 15 specialists as well as setting up an Advanced Analytics platform as a building block for the digital transformation of VDAB. Realization of the predictive model 'Next Steps' that predicts how long jobseekers will remain unemployed and what counselling actions should be taken. Responsible for integrating the ‘Next Steps’ model as a key enabler within the Digital-First Contact strategy that VDAB officially rolled out in 2018. The Next Steps project made it very tangible for the first time what Big Data could mean for VDAB and how it is able to transform & drive its services and increase its societal impact. Other major analytic projects are Fraud detection in job-seekers behavior, Click Data analysis, Graph / Network Based recommender systems and the development of an AI driven Job Matching framework based on a deep neural network. Many of these artefacts are currently embedded within the digital tools & services provided by VDAB . Being a frontrunner in AI applications, the VDAB AI team won multiple awards and was able to inspire PES institutes across Europe. -
