I'm a Lieutenant currently assigned to the Training Academy responsible for logistics on special projects, programs, and I also assist in instructing the recruit class. I was a Recruit Training Officer brought down to the Training Academy in July 2013 for Class 50 and Class 51. Upon their graduation, I remained at the Training Academy to take on different responsibilities. .I'm responsible for answering 911 calls requesting EMS or Fire services. In addition, I'm responsible for communicating over our radio system. Dispatching units to calls for service as well as talking with them while they are operating in the field.I've been with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department for 13 years. Prior to this assignment, I was a Driver/Pump Operator at Station 7 (Arundel Volunteer Fire Department) in Gambrills, MD for 5 years from 2008 to 2013.From 2005 to 2008 I was a Firefighter II at Station 4 (Severn)From 2001 to 2005 I was a Firefighter II at Station 41 (Avalon Shores) in Shadyside, MDI've been an Recruit Training Officer for two Recruit Classes as well as a Field Training Officer.
