I am an engineer, a tinkerer, a builder, and a thought leader focused on building enterprise-level distributed systems and everything in between that leads to that objective.I architect, deploy and support a myriad tools and systems in the cloud, on bare-metal and hybrid scenarios.I love what it do. My hobby is my job and my job is my hobby. All the technology I get to use day-to-day I use for personal projects and ideas as well. My personal projects tend to help with my day job.I am the Director of Devops at NowSecure, Inc and manage a team responsible for keeping hundreds of systems online including servers, IoT devices and mobile devices. My team is responsible for keeping dozens of deployments online and stable and handling hundreds of deployments a week. My team builds and architects a number of unique projects that specifically improve the scalability of mobile devices and mobile app testing.I've been using Docker before Docker was Docker. I have years of experience with Single-Sign On to include building a Federated SSO system (closed-source). For the last 8 years I've been focused on cloud and hybrid deployments using technologies like Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Splunk, Prometheus, Consul, NSQ, and more. Prior to that I solely focused on computer security and forensics for a decade and I still hold me certification in computer forensics.I maintain a number of open source projects and I also maintain the SIFT forensics linux distribution.
