I came in to shape all the business aspects of the company. Finding sustainable processes and financial models, taking everything from a “project to project”-company to a professionally run company. Create all reporting routines (including developing tools and models), plan and execute new ways to manage financial control, key player in a business due diligence and later on the purchase of this company, co-driven 3 different rounds of investment which took ownership of the company from founder owned to having a majority outside of the founders circle, create and execute overall structural changes such breaking out business areas to create a group of companies to minimise risk and focus strategy, recruit and set-up a finance department, change just about everything about how finance was run – implementing POC, group reporting, changing systems, shaping all administrative roles of the company, various IT projects and IT support including implementing several new systems. In conclusion the most important part has been to elevate the company from one thing to another and spreading knowledge about how the financial aspects of the business works. This has heavily contributed in enabling the company to grow from a 48 MSEK turnover in 2012 to 112 MSEK in 2014 & 2015.

Setting up everything from basically scratch. Shaping reporting and follow-up processes with multiple stakeholders across various organisations and projects. Key member in taking the company from a project oriented start up to creating a sustainable business focus. Created tools and reports to facilitate the making of forecasts and various analyses. Represent finance in the board meetings and making presentations and progress reports. Overall strategy work. Leading the accounting firms’ work concerning the finances. Training the project managers in business and making sure they understood our vision of financial control. Implement an administrative structure and making sure every part of the business was run in an efficient and correct way.When I came in we started out with 4 people and when I left we were 16 and grew from a turnover of 17 MSEK to 40 MSEK.

Parallel project to Media Evolution to help a similar company do the same journey. I did basically all the same things but in a smaller scale and in a different industry. The important part was being able to use what I learned from both experiences to do an even better job in both places.

Heavy focus on controlling of purchasing- and sales invoices, and tax/VAT reporting to the EU and respective country’s authority. Monitoring of P&L’s and monthly revision of accounts. Quality assurance of economic processes and reporting.

New position dedicated to the outlet business. Analyse, report, and interpret sales results in the outlet channel. Heavy focus on the different seasons and how that correlated with write offs. Monitor, understand, and control KPI levels of the stores, perform forecasting and budgeting (Quarterly and Yearly), Monitor and analyse balance Sheets and P&L’s, and the creation new tools and the modulation of present ones to better understand and monitor the outlet area of the business. The position suffered from cut back due to the financial crisis.
