I'm a Structural Engineer (PE) with experience in steel design with an emphasis in connection design, concrete design, foundation design, masonry design, and wood design. I've done work with industrial, commercial, residential, and education (k-12) projects. I also have experience in construction phase services, public and private sectors and project management.I am also a Forensic Engineer with experience in foundation settlement, fire damage, earthquake damage, and home additions and renovations.Specialties: Steel Connection Design, Low-Rise Building Design, Structural Damage AssessmentsI have 13 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, and have been licensed for 8 years. I am currently licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. I got my start with Steel Connection Design, of which I have over 10 collective years of experience. After that I worked in Low-Rise Building Design, of which I have over 4 years of experience. For the last 7 years I have also been performing Structural Condition Assessments for residential and commercial buildings across the metro. In 2013, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to move to Christchurch, New Zealand for 6 months to assess structural damage for government buildings caused by the 2010-2012 earthquakes.
