Innovation Analyst
Current-Co-direct Taft's AI efforts in vetting vendors, talking to practice groups/teams for use cases, providing education, coordinating efforts across various operations groups, and providing regular updates to firm stakeholders about AI, our use of it, and new products/use cases.-Manage vendor contracts, demos, use cases, and more, handling the relationship between the firm and the vendors.-Heavily involved in various legal groups, including ILTA, to gain knowledge for the firm-Work with head of departments in the firm to organize and push forward innovation in the firm-Stay abreast of current products and technology-Use PowerBI to create both internal and external reporting dashboards-Build out complex Smartsheet solutions to help solve problems in the firm, including assignment tracking, hours tracking, project management, real estate deals, and more. Smartsheet guru.-Creating from scratch an internal communication group called #TaftConnects who meets monthly to discuss projects, ask questions, and communicate so we all ensure we can help each other, our attorneys, and clients effectively-Run HighQ collaboration rooms for firm, including contract management sites, annual renewal sites, and litigation tracking. Sites have generated increased revenue for the firm totaling tens of thousands a month.-Champion innovation, particularly for legal assistants, to the staff and attorneys in the firm-Involvement in various committees and task forces to keep abreast of innovation in the office-Interview new hires to discuss things that they do at their old firm/job that we could use here-Integral part in change in the firm, including:-Planning for and inviting hundreds of people to discuss changes to how we save documents in iManage, our DMS-Rolling out Microsoft Teams to the firm with safeguards for use with clients
