As project engineer in the greenhouse automation branche my main responsibility is to coordinate the construction process from the official order to the final realisation of the project. I managed to change the way of storage and preparing the orders for transport. The result is that the products arrive in the stores 1 day faster than before. A huge improvement for perishable goods.

Survey about electronic ordering. The goal of the survey was to investigate the potential of all the customers of 3M Nederland to order in an electronic way. Because it’s not possible for all customers to order via an EDI connection, 3M developed some way like e-fax or a standard excel form to get the orders processed in an electronic way. 500 of the 1500 suppliers of 3M received an email with a link to an online inquiry. A total of 55% filled in inquiries were scored. The data showed that is was not possible to get the electronic ordering to 80% within 8 months.
