About Erik Poger Abrahamsen
After 10+ years in the acting industry, and 5+ years of customer service, I'm thrilled to be transitioning into tech as a UX Researcher and Designer. As an actor, I used a keen eye for detail to build moments written written in between the lines, and collaboratively worked with other actors, directors, and designers to figure out how a script can be brought to life for an audience. Not unlike in my years in coffee and bartending, I used my awareness and collaboration to build a consistent space where folks could congregate and be who they are without any fear of judgement.Working in UX is crucial, as we strive to make the world a more well designed place for anyone. It's our job to listen, ask questions, and build a solid foundation so that we can problem solve with confidence. I bring my unashamed enthusiasm to everything I do, and look forward to working collaboratively with a cohort who want to design the world better!
