Contributed to ARC’s efforts of building trust with stakeholders through transparency and best in class communication and the development of marketing materials, benchmarking, public disclosure, public filings including the annual information form, and investor meetings.

Responsible for all aspects of developing and executing a financial risk management function at ARC Resources Ltd. including the establishment of principles, policy, mandate, guidelines, credit agreements, developing market research, preparation of strategy materials and presentations to the board of directors, financial reporting, trade execution, building external relationships, recruitment and team leadership.Contributed to building ARC’s risk management program into a competitive advantage recognized by ARC’s board of directors, bank syndicate, investors, peers, and equity analysts. Over a nine-year period hedging activities helped secure the execution of annual budgets, long-term capital investments, strategic acquisitions and generated cumulative gains of $422 million supporting a conservative balance sheet and a stable dividend policy.

Directly supported the Senior Vice President, Finance with critical aspects of ARC Resources’ treasury and finance functions including:Quarterly presentations to the bank syndicate, MD&A disclosures and reporting of mark-to-market for hedging positions, monthly cash settlements of hedging positions, establishment of SOX processes, providing support in building ARC’s corporate acquisition and planning model, and evaluation and support for the issuance of both private debt and equity offerings.

Identified opportunities for value creation through industry screening and pro-forma modeling of asset and corporate acquisition opportunities; support to investor relations and treasury through financial analysis benchmarking of assets and corporate financial metrics.
