Back in 2007, Erik co-founded an Enterprise Magento eCommerce agency, Classy Llama, and worked in that agency for 11 years. In 2018, he started Kraken with the desire to deliver world-class technical expertise at reasonable rates by running a team of cross-disciplined individuals with a small management/sales/marketing overhead.Erik has led scores of Magento implementations over the years. His primary role at Kraken is to lead client engagements and oversee our development team.

I work with Classy Llama clients to create solutions on the Magento platform that help increase their online revenue and increase operational efficiencies. I start working with clients in the sales process and work with them all the way through the project process. While I have over three years experience in programming for Magento, my primary focus is uncovering and creating the plan for our Magento projects. I then work with Classy Llama's implementation team to ensure that the plan is executed effectively.

After spending 18 months as CEO of Classy Llama Studios, I have decided to move into the CTO position so that I can more effectively pursue my passion for programming.Kurt Theobald, my business partner of over 3 years, has moved into the CEO of role at Classy Llama Studios and is filling that position brilliantly.My daily activities include: discussing technical requirements with clients, helping our developers overcome challenges, learning more about PHP / Zend Framework / Magento / Javascript / jQuery, and programming kick-butt websites for our clients.
