Projects:> The Lofts at North Point, Cambridge (MA): Former industrial building with 103 new "micro" lofts, one of the first projects in Greater Boston for this new housing prototype geared toward urban dwellers. Located near Lechmere station on the Green Line. LEED-NC Silver certifiable.> Appleton Mills, Lowell (MA): Loft-style, live/work housing creates a community core on the central “island” of the 15-acre Hamilton Canal mixed-use district. Recently received a Citation in Housing Design from the Boston Society of Architects. A gallery at street level, live/sell units along the new “loading dock,” a 4-story atrium at the heart of the complex, and a green roof are also components of this contemporary design.> 110 Canal Street, Lowell (MA): An adaptive reuse of a turn of the century factory into an office building that includes a green roof.> Temple Landing, New Bedford (MA): A $20 million transformative redevelopment of a 40-year-old, 200-unit affordable housing project, including the creation of new streets, 42 new units, and rehabilitation of 120 existing units to remain.> Torrey Woods, Weymouth (MA): A full-design through construction phase services for a $4 million affordable housing project with 20 units of affordable housing.

Community & Urban Design (4th Year Architecture Studio)> Advised students in the department's Community & Urban Design Studio through the design of theoretical projects addressing housing shortages in key Boston neighborhoods and the social needs of Boston neighborhoods.Design for Social Innovation (Undergraduate Elective)> Developed an elective course, Design for Social Innovation, and taught two semesters to undergraduate students about the importance of the community voice and its contribution to the design process.> Mentored participating students through a collaborative and iterative design process with nonprofit organizations across the City of Boston to address urban challenges with high-impact, low-cost innovative solutions.
