In 2011 he was appointed Finance Director of Crown's Speciality Packaging Division, based at the European HQ in Switzerland. In 2013 he was promoted Director SCM for Crown's Aerosol & Speciality Packaging Division (500m$ revenue), heading up a team of up to 110 people across 18 manufacturing plants in 9 countries. Between 1994 and 2001, Erik worked for the Johnson Controls Automotive Division in Europe. Initially as a Financial Analyst for the Car Seating Components business, in charge of reporting and consolidation, and later as the Controller of the Program Management Office (PMO) & Engineering Department of Soft Trim Systems (STS) at the European HQ in Germany.Erik is a Belgian national who travelled widely and worked in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. He has a Master's degree in Accountancy and is multilingual with fluency in Dutch (native), English, German and French.
