To-Do Studio was founded by Mario Cardinal and Erik Renaud with the vision that the world would be a better place if leaders could empower others to take initiative. It took us several years of experimentation to find a simple and elegant solution to the following problem: How can we enable people to complete together a common to-do list? The challenge was to provide an answer which relies on the principle of self-directed teams and helps leaders avoid the burden of follow-ups and tough talks that occur when pushing and pulling others to take initiative. After five years of R&D, we are bringing to market the result of our innovation, namely To-Do Studio, an automated assistant offered as Software as a Service (SaaS).

As the founding member of Modelon Solutions, developed the concept of tactical applications for many clients, in order to help them reach their goals. As a founding member of Ambient Reflex, developped the « Vibes » concept for its clients that aims to bring them cloud computing where the mobile information worker is at the center of the stage.Created the public version of the « Vibes » concept, which was called « LifePulz » in order to help people connect.

nVentive is a Montreal-based privately held IT services company focused on improving the quality of resources and solutions available through coaching and guidance. Its mission is to empower customers by leveraging its expertise with cutting edge .net technologies combined with an agile methodology to create a unique synergy between planning, modeling and development efforts.

Supervised by the loans systems project manager, participated in the development of a customer relations and portfolio management system. Participated in the implementation of architectural patterns for newly developed modules and acted as technical team lead for different phases of the project.

Supervised by the Xpress team’s project manager, developed and maintained the Conveyor and Messenger applications which were gateways to the UCC.NET electronic retail identification system. Extensive usage of XSD, XSLT and WebServices to integrate with the target systems.

Supervised by the research and development director, analyzed, developed and maintained the code generation modules (for VB.NET, C#, C++, Java and J#) for the Codagen Architect software, which transforms UML models into source code using the MDA “Model Driven Architecture” paradigm. Extended experience in UML modeling, used for the development of object data models, parsers and data manipulation systems.

Supervised by the research and development director, analyzed and developed the different system components for the company’s electronic ticketing solution, of a distributed architecture, mainly coded in C++. Participated at every step of the product’s development cycle. Advised upper management on different technological options. Occasional participation in management tasks.
