A volunteer trying to use my experiences to help Mount Clemens. I have worn many hats. Training Program Manager, Logistics Planner, Leadership Mentor, Trainer, Knowledge Management, and more.As a Training Program Manager I lead complex training programs with over 300 employees, while also managing a diverse range of unrelated projects. I had to assess, design, develop, and deliver individual and group trainings for my own organization and partners. As a Logistics Planner I had to balance many groups transportation requirements against expected capacity, while considering the big picture. This was on the scale of thousands of people and millions of tons of equipment, across every mode of transportation.I have also served in many leadership and mentor roles. Everything from basic technical training of new members, to mentoring leaders who have moved into a new specialty area and need to be able to make well informed decisions.There have been a lot of other things I've been a part of that have given me truly valuable experience. I've spent dozens of hours in an Emergency Operations Center during severe weather events, managed an equal opportunity/organizational climate program for a diverse team of over 300 employees, planned complex multi-national events with people from several organizations, set up working and living spaces in austere environments, and I am now learning about grant writing. I am a strong advocate for innovation, not just the buzzword but actually leveraging ideas from all levels of an organization for process improvement.Specialties: -Project Management, lead diverse teams ranging from a few people to hundreds of participants.
