Press liaison for the Midwest Regional Office. Duties include drafting and reviewing press releases, editorials, and publication content. Also manages education campaigns through online media platforms including Facebook, Mail Chimp, and Twitter. Coordinating volunteers and events through our local group, The Chicago Leadership Council.

Co-organizer of three monthly DJ residencies, with rotating performers and DJs. Chances Dances also awards a twice-yearly grant for Chicago based artists who identify themselves or their work as queer.

The mission of the Chicago Independent Radio Project is to secure a broadcast license for a new community radio station in Chicago that is committed to local, independent programming, and generally to further the causes of localism, diversity, and independence in broadcasting. The group is working to convince Congress and the FCC to remove existing barriers to the granting of low power FM radio licenses in urban areas, including Chicago.

Providing outreach for people who live in public housing. Outreach includes direct contact through home visits, phone calls or letters. Identifying problem issues, referral, linkage and support in crisis and day to day needs.
