• Investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, abusive conduct and other issues arising within public and private entities; interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses; assess and analyze documentary evidence and witness credibility; draft and edit reports describing findings. Standard cases include:• Private and Public Entities: Investigate complaints against co-workers, supervisors, executives, and public agency leaders. • Educational Systems: Investigate allegations of bullying, harassment, and disparate treatment based on protected classes. Interview students, instructors, and administrators.

Represented plaintiffs in employment and personal injury litigation. The majority of the matters I handled were employment lawsuits brought against my clients' (usually) former employers pursuant to California's Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). While the majority of the clients I represented during these years were Bohm Law Group clients I helped as Of Counsel to that firm, I continued to maintain my own independent law firm and occasionally take on cases under my own firm's banner on the side.

My practice primarily focused on enforcing the Clean Water Act and CA's General Industrial Storm Water Permit. I also did a little Proposition 65 enforcement, Writ work, and appellate advocacy while working for Andrew.

I researched and wrote various memoranda on environmental law-related issues the Environmental Law section of the CA Attorney General's office was dealing with at the time.

Led a statewide coalition of student activists to persuade the CSU Board of Trustees to adopt a CSU system-wide policy mandating the CSU's use of renewable energy sources and sustainable design practices on all new buildings it constructs.
