At Aster Bio, we use molecular testing to monitor and troubleshoot biological wastewater treatment. Our proprietary Environmental Genomics suite includes qPCR, metagenomic sequencing (16s rDNA), and other molecular tests customized to biological waste treatment. In addition to molecular testing, Aster Bio also performs system audits with chronic and acute toxicity testing for evaluating new waste streams and investigating opportunities to enhance wastewater treatment. All testing is designed to provide relevant, actionable items to improve wastewater treatment operations.Aster Bio also uses Environmental Genomics data to develop customized microbial and enzyme formulations for reducing reliance on synthetic chemicals and improved effluent quality. The science, called bioaugmentation, works by managing biological populations in waste treatment plants to achieve a more efficient biomass. With molecular testing, we can find which microbes delivery best performance and help manage a system to remain within this ideal population range.My focus is always on delivering value to my customers.
