I'm a factotum. I do whatever is necessary. The founding team consists of about half dozen outstanding people (some are still PT while they finish up other jobs). I have worked with all of them in the past so there's no learning curve there. It is truly humbling to have a team around me that trusts each other (and me) enough to come together two, three, or even four times to build new companies and products. Happy to have private conversations with trusted members of my network about the project. I am a firm believer in early socialization being a method to avoid dumb mistakes and add perspectives.

I strongly objected to the pivot Tempus Ex Machina took when becoming Infinite Athlete.• It limited the addressable market by locking us into sports. That decision massively undervalued the potential of what we were (or should have been) building.• It locked us into the wrong side of the value proposition. You want to focus your business around a revenue center that scales with the size of the audience, not a cost center that is capped. There are 1,696 athletes in the NFL. There are 400,000,000 NFL fans. You want to sell to the fans, not the athletes• We spent a truly insane amount of resources (money and time) on marketing the rebrand as a B2B SAAS company with no need for a consumer brand.• I did not like who we were taking money from, the terms of that money, or the motivations of those organizations that were putting money in. I don’t want to work with people I think are unethical.My objections were ignored. Time will tell who was right.I take the whole Infinite Athlete era as a cautionary tale of what NOT to do. I am grateful for that lesson.

Tracked 3 axis of position, acceleration, and rotation.• Gameday operations systems across 8 venues in the United States• User experiences on iPhone, Android, tvOS, Fire TV, iPad, Android TV, and WebThe Alliance ended spectacularly (and very publicly). Its demise had nothing to do with the technology group. We delivered on time and under budget. We rolled out new features and functionality each and every week of the season.

I ran a research project operating in Google Ventures start up lab on integrating second screen devices with television. The focus was on tying real time data to real time TV. Foneshow mobilized the radio industry and changed it from a broadcast model to a cell phone based, on-demand narrowcast model. As CEO I managed product and business development of both SaaS and consumer product lines. We had deals with the top brands in radio including CBS, ABC, Fox News, Triton, NPR, Premiere Radio, and many others in addition we had deals with several sports leagues including the PGA and NASCAR. We raised $1.6M in seed funding but were run over by the speed of the emergence of the iPhone. US patent application 20090181614.

Retired, got married, had kids, cooked, sailed, traveled, ate out, and went to operas.I did solo transpacific yacht races in 2002 and 2004. Sailed more than 10,000 solo open ocean miles in a 40 foot boat. Wrote custom tactical dashboards and autopilot software that interfaced with the embedded instrument systems on the boat via NMEA.

Developed and implemented business plan for online based music research company based on advanced collaborative filtering technology. Developed relationships with record labels. Developed sales channels to radio industry. Implicit data derived from user behavior is far more valuable than self reported behavior (the way traditional music research is done).Things went well, but we were undercapitalized and late 2000 was not the best time to try to be raising funds.

Nice bunch of people, very talented. The company had cash flow problems. One of the first commercial web developers in the United States. Clients included: BofA, Nike, Microsoft and Oracle.I worked on the vivid Travel Network project. It was WAY ahead of its time. We were inventing social and UGC back in 1996 before most people knew what a browser was.

I was employee number 7 at this interactive television start up. 1995-96 I was Director of Content, leading a team that did some of the early work putting internet content on TV.1992-95 I was the Product Manager for the Cox Cable Omaha Video on Demand trial.From 1990-92 I was a software engineer developing user interfaces for use in an NTSC environment. In this role I did some of the seminal work in interactive television applications and interfaces.
