As a Ph.D. candidate in the Product and Process Engineering group, I am researching the collision behavior of partially dried droplets in the context of spray drying. I have developed two experimental setups to study this phenomenon. By employing numerical modeling and optical coherence tomography, I translate my understanding of a droplet's surface stickiness and internal conditions into predictions of collision outcomes. In terms of teaching, I have developed course materials for a Master's level Reactor and Kinetics course and have supervised several students at both the Bachelor's and Master's levels.
