• Close work with specifications and standardization groups (IETF, OMA, 3GPP, GSMA etc.).• A member in several standardization workgroups (OMA PAG group, GSMA RCS group). Membership includes work on the future specifications and protocols for Presence & IM.• Working very closely with the majority of the groups in the company. Product management, Solution Architects, various customer support functions, technical writers and more.• Working closely with Tier 1 cellular operators both on site and remote (Telecom Italy, British Telecom, Megafon etc.). Including workshops, management of integration sessions and more.• Replying to RFI’s, RFP’s & RFQ’s.• Assisting in the definition of solutions for customer projects both as Customer integrator and as Product specialist.• Leading the reconstruction of the products documentation and in charge of it from start to finish.• Initiated the Bi-weekly seminars, a once every two weeks session in which a member of the group gives a lecture on a topic of his choice.(similar to Google TechTalks, Facebook Internal Speakers Series, etc.)

• The Presence & IM solution is a distributed, scalable and database oriented system that enables presence services, IM, chat, contact list & authorization management for mobile and IMS core users.• Performed High level design (HLD) as well as Low level design (LLD) for different parts of the server.• Performed the coding of the designed components including Unit testing and documentation.• Was highly involved in the requirement definition, definition of functional and systems tests, and delivery of product.• Developed profound understanding of telecommunication messaging & signaling standards: SIP RFCs, IMS core, XDMS, IMPS, PAM/Parlay-x, XMPP, Web-services.• The products were based on a wide array of technologies: C++, Java, ACE, Corba OOP, PL/SQL, SOAP, SIP, XML-DB, Oracle, advanced caching and distributed systems.
