I'm a longtime software engineer, in love with technology since my first attempts at basic programming on a C64 back in 1983. I've been a professional programmer for 30+ years, and a hobbyist for a few more, with hands-on experience from a multitude of fields, languages and OS'es. Some of my past projects have included creating e.g. linux kernel modules, Win2k/9x drivers, File recovery software, a distributed MMORPG server, debuggers, low-level disk utilites, webapps. I also have extensive experience with debugging, reverse engineering and protection against reverse engineering. On the side, I've admined AD domains, and managed 100 or so internet-facing linux machines. Married into the world of the foreign service, I'm currently back in Norway after living in New York City for 4 years, 3 years in Beijing and 2 years in Juba, spending my days remote working for HuginTech AS - the company founded, owned and managed by me and Kjetil Helland, for Farmforce AS as Head of Software Development, and for Stasism AS as CTO.As long as I can keep learning and get some challenges I'm happy - and HuginTech is always open for interesting projects.
