Ages ago I took a Java class in high school because I thought it maybe sounded kind of interesting. Little did I know what lay down that road. The next year I took an AP Java course, and not long after I ended up going to college for Computer Game Development (with an emphasis on programming). Among the more notable projects I worked on there were Toon Doom (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5rYxE62yqY) and Y2K Gameshow, two Unreal Tournament 3 mods which were finalists in the Education category of the Make Something Unreal competition. After college I bounced between freelance and indie projects for a bit until a fateful visit to Cragislist led me to a temporary job teaching game development to teenagers. They also wanted me to teach an iOS course, so I bought a Macbook and hurriedly learned Objective-C, which in turn led me to a position as an iOS developer at an ad agency, starting a very unexpected career in healthcare advertising. My passions are game development, of course, and automation. I dream of a world where machines do all the work for us and humans are free to relax or pursue hobbies and creative pursuits. Star Trek, essentially. In my current role I primarily use Objective-C, HTML/CSS/Javascript, Python, and PHP, but in the past I've also worked with C++, C#, ActionScript, Perl, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, and Lua, as well as various proprietary scripting languages like UScript.
Listed skills include C#, Game Development, Game Design, Sql, and 18 others.
