Working as the Senior Solution Engineer for 7 months, I was asked to become the Functional Competence Owner for all Warehousing and Distribution solutions. In this role I am accountable for all the warehousing & distribution designs and solutions for the highly customized QAD ERP system and act as a team lead for 4-7 Solution Engineers. In several international projects (e.g. Taiwan, Puerto Rico) I participated and lead in the design and development of new solutions. In these projects we work as a bridge between business (from leaders to floor operators) and our internal development department. In addition to the business analysis, I have also initiated, guided and implemented several internal department processes and enhancements. (E.g. new Functional Design document, Testing, Documentation, Use of Jira)

Working on and managing a team of 5 Business Analysts, responsible for the design of the Kewill Customs software product. In this period I designed and implemented a new development process across all teams.This process resulted in a better communication with all the stakeholders and ensured that everyone was involved in an early stage and aware of the aimed product improvements. The main deliverables were functional specifications using UML, mainly: State diagrams, Class diagrams and Use Cases.

Working on and managing a team of 3 Business Analysts and 1 Senior Quality Engineer, responsible for the design of the Kewill Reverse Logistics software application. In addition to the business analysis and consultancy for tier one customers, my team was also hands-on with support issues. In this period I supported others to improve their UML knowledge.Concurrently with the role as Product Architect, I was Product Manager for Kewill Vision (Data Visibility Solution) from Feb ’12 to Oct ’12. In this role I developed the Business Case for the Vision product. My team and I investigated, designed and tested several potential products to be used for Vision. (Qlikview, Pentaho and an internal package)

Beginning as a software engineer, I quickly grew into the role of Development Manager within 2 years. In this role I managed up to 12 software engineers and for a period of 2 years a support team with 4-6 support engineers. I was responsible for different customer projects, roadmap, escalation management, planning, and HR related tasks, including evaluations, salaries etc. Because of my specialist software and database knowledge I also mentored the developers and helped with escalations.Here some typical projects I was responsible for and am proud of:• Palm Computing (Europe, Asia and the USA)This project delivered a complete reverse logistics process, including Order Management, Warehouse Management, a Repair Shop Floor module, Integrated Repair Flow system, drop zones & courier integration. In the European and USA projects I was responsible for the business analysis and project management although I was also involved in the development, integration and testing. I worked closely with the customer and its third party vendors (e.g. Repair Vendors such as Decision One and Celestica). • DHL/HP (Europe)Similar to above, this project was to implement a reverse logistics solution, but with a far greater degree of internal systems integration. In this project I was responsible for the business analysis and was a key part of the development, integration and test team. The system was designed for all countries in Europe and used in more than 120 FSL/SPC’s and a regional Hub. It included a PuDo (Pick Up Drop Off) module, Engineer/Customer stock, Warehouse Store and Pick Routing and many courier integrations.
