I started working at Prospero after nearly 20 years in the automotive industry driven by a curiosity to use my experience in another context. Prospero Management is a management consulting company with a large portion of the business within the public sector. Important focus areas for Prospero were mobility, public procurement and resilience. A few examples of assignments I have had as consultant at Prospero are:• Pre-study leader for development of AstaZero towards verification of autonomous and connected vehicles• Urban waterfront protection Gothenburg; Investigation regarding challenges for the municipality of Gothenburg in their work with protection measures towards flooding from the river. Various pre-studies and requirements analysis regarding ticketing systems for Västtrafik• Requirements analysis for sales and service in procurement of commuter train operation for Västtrafik• Process definition for product planning and portfolio management for Swegon• Intelligence analysis and organisational development for municipal rescue services.• Applied research project with Vinnova for improvement of innovation capability within the public sector

As Manager Business Office I was working with business development within the Product Strategy and Planning function. Among other things I was working with organization and process development for portfolio management related to a large organization change among the truck brands in the Volvo. I also handled issues around brand distinction between the different truck brands from a Volvo Trucks perspective.

As Range Requirement Manager for FM/FMX I was responsible for product strategy, product planning, and follow-up of product development for Volvo FM and FMX. In addition to that I had the task to monitor trends and customer needs in the transport segments Construction and Mining. I also had the role as coordinator for Volvo Trucks Product Board, a forum where Volvo Trucks Management team took decisions concerning development of new products.

As Group Manager at Volvo Powertrain I established a new group responsible for Systems Engineering within Powertrain Control Systems. This was a very inspiring work where I had to take care of recruitment as well as development of processes and organization both within my own team and in relationship with Powertrain Engineering. I also had the role as deputy section manager and took care of that role during a period when my manager was on parental leave.For six months, I had the opportunity to gain new experience at Volvo Powertrain Product Planning, when I was substitute during a parental leave. In this role, I managed and communicated product plan and strategy for Volvo Group electrical hybrid powertrains and alternative fuels. As product planner, I also developed prerequisites for powertrain engineering projects and acted as pre-study leader.
