As the City Manager (CEO) of the City of Oak Park, I have over 14 years of executive-level administration experience in municipal government. I lead a team of over 200 employees who provide high-quality services to a diverse community of ~30K residents. I am responsible for implementing the policies and priorities adopted by the City Council and managing the city's $36M budget with fiscal prudence and transparency.My core competencies include community and economic development, communications and public engagement, and financial management. I have successfully secured multiple state and federal development incentives, attracted and retained businesses, and improved the city's bond rating and fiscal stability. I hold an MBA from Wayne State University and several professional certifications in human resources and city management. I am passionate about creating positive change and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders. My mission is to enhance the city's growth, sustainability, and livability, while ensuring the needs and objectives of the citizens and the community are met.
