My past Experiences have given me a very broad base for a career in technology, management, physical security and Cyber Security. In my current role within Verizon, my goal is to keep the system designs in line with business goals which is to add value while creating a positive customer experience while saving the company money. The key in all of this is to maintain data integrity while keeping both the business and customers data secure. To maintaining this level of security it is a requirement to maintain the appropriate levels of accessibility based on the needs of those attempting to access the data while maintaining the confidence in our customers and employees.I am also part of the Reserve Sheriffs Deputy program where I am passionate about serving the community. My goal is to help others manage difficult life situations while upholding the law. Life throws us curveballs on a regular bases and can lead to destructive behaviors. As a peace officer the goal is to find peace in a terrible situation, not escalation.Working in tense situations that are very fluid requires great attention to detail while also maintaining a professional attitude and mindset. Law enforcement is a great avenue to hone those professional skills while working with many types of personalities. This has also helped improve my ability to de-escalate situation to a positive outcome regardless of the intensity of the situation.I am also a certified NRA Instructor and Coach who strives to create responsible gun owners. I am well versed on the pistol and tactical side and my goals are to guide individuals in the proper use and handling of firearms in all situations, with an eye on safety!
