Erik leads the Payments Automation team within the Enterprise Payments Platform. They build, enhance and maintain financial payment services that facilitate the transfer of funds from internal and/or external accounts as well as the payment of internal and external bills with both USAA and external financial accounts. The team focuses on performance, quality and compliance while using modern tools and patterns.

Erik was responsible for the market research demand system (STS) which drives ~$200MM of company revenue. He reported to and worked with the CTO and partners with key business executives to help Research Now achieve its goals. STS is used by ~500 internal users who setup and maintain market research studies. It includes allocation, quota management, routing, priority scoring and traffic generation systems that drive "respondents" into our client studies.Erik lead multiple teams tasked with:-building, refactoring and extending the next generation sampling system-partnering with Product to define future work items-working with Business Operations team to understand and measure impact of changes made to system-developing internal and external APIs used to integrate directly with STS-delivering business-critical features and functionality via two-week agile sprints-partnering with Infrastructure teams to build our devops capabilities-working with the support teams to identify and fix system defects, bugs and usability issues

Erik was responsible for leading Credera's Custom Java Solutions practice. He led and managed 25+ consultants as they designed and implemented technology systems and delivered business and technology strategies. Erik served clients across numerous industries (e.g., retail, online entertainment, home construction, etc.) helping them solve crucial problems and implement key systems enabling their continued growth and success.Erik played a crucial role in Credera's college recruiting program. Helping identify, recruit and evaluate college hires while planning the recruiting schedule and activities for the school he oversaw. Furthermore, Erik worked closely with both internal and external recruiters to find and attract experienced technology consultants.
