Being responsible in one's own community is a critical part in being successful in today's world. This is true because if people contribute to making things better, then others will follow suit and then the fruits of their labor would be greater over time than realized. Further, I believe that a good work ethic (going in to work on time, being polite, following instructions, contributing to solutions,...) is essential in building a career. I do have a good work ethic and I continue to improve it whenever I can. I do believe in pushing people to do their very best for the simple reason that people do not always know what their best is until they have actually tried it. I strive to at least do something new or every week because it even though the action may not be beneficial professionally or socially, there is always something to be learned.
