GenomeSpace provides access to a diverse range of bioinformatics tools, and bridges the gaps between the tools, making it easy to leverage the available analyses and visualizations in each of them.

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. They support the worldwide movement to offer free books housed in small containers to members of the local community. It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share.

Health Informatics and Modeling Topic Advisory Group (HIM-TAG) is tasked to develop the World Health Organization WHO International Classification of Diseases (ICD) Revision 11 Content Model. The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) is the standard diagnostic tool for epidemiology, health management and clinical purposes. This includes the analysis of the general health situation of population groups. It is used to monitor the incidence and prevalence of diseases and other health problems, proving a picture of the general health situation of countries and populations.

The goal of the National Center for Biomedical Ontology is to support biomedical researchers in their knowledge-intensive work, by providing online tools and a Web portal enabling them to access, review, and integrate disparate ontological resources in all aspects of biomedical investigation and clinical practice. A major focus of our work involves the use of biomedical ontologies to aid in the management and analysis of data derived from complex experiments.

Eric holds a Research Scientist position at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory where he is a Principal Investigator on the MIT SIMILE project focused on developing robust, open source tools based on Semantic Web technologies that improve access, management and reuse among digital resources.

I am the Activity Lead for the W3C World Wide Web Consortium's Semantic Web.My responsibilities include the architectural and technical leadership in the design and evolution of Semantic Web infrastructure. Responsibilities additionally include working with W3C members so that both working groups in the Semantic Web activity, as well as other W3C activities, produce Web standards and conventions that support Semantic Web requirements. Additionally, to build support among user and vendor communities for the Semantic Web by illustrating the benefits to those communities and means of participating in the creation of a metadata-ready Web.
