Responsibilities: • Spearheaded projects involving new applications and renewals of various licenses such as Mining Lease (ML), Operational Mining Scheme (OMS), and Quarry Scheme (SKSK)• Collated and studied survey reports, drawing plans, aerial photographs and other data required for quarry and mining projects • Attended various site meetings with clients, contactors, local, state and federal agencies for verifying that projects comply with various regulations.• Participated in project meetings and prepared presentations for perspective clients.• Consulted to listed clients which includes site visit to discuss progress, provide ideas, and identify processes that need to be improved. • Liaised and maintained records of correspondences with clients and government agencies such as Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains (JMG), Pejabat Tanah dan Galian (PTG), Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS), and Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS)• Documented progressive blasting monitoring reports and wrote quarterly reports as required by certain authorities Achievements: • Coordinated and submitted more than 60 technical reports on time related to quarrying (granite and limestone) as well as mining operations (gold, iron, tin, silica sand and other minerals) to government agencies and listed clients. • Prepared and submitted Rehabilitation and Restoration Plan of Quarry Operation for Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA) • Attended monthly meeting as mining consultant to the Coal Mining Operation for Coal-Fired Power Plant in Mukah, Sarawak (Main coal supplier to Sarawak Energy Berhad in Sarawak)
