I love to talk about the science of learning, compassion, and connection. Collaboratively working towards psychological flexibility, mindfulness, and authentic interdependence via evolutionary psychology, anthropology, Contextual Behavioral Science, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I'm specialized in providing evidence-based mental healthcare around trauma, mood and anxiety issues (especially OCD), parenting (across development), and reproductive period-related stressors. I do therapy with adults and families; I supervise other therapists; and I provide training and consultation to other professionals and organizations. I leveraged nearly 20 years of clinical practice and work, study, life, and travel in 60(ish) countries to supporting faculty, administrators, and on-the-ground facilitators in their care of students across global education experiences -- making them not just safer but more transformational, connective, healing, and helpful for all.
