Detail-oriented, data science guru. I am a natural analyst who thrives on tackling complex data problems. Ugly data? No problem!  I have six years of experience in all stages of the data lifecycle, allowing me to see the nastiest of data formatting. In addition to complete data transformation, I have gained expertise in statistical inference and modeling (data, not fashion). My favorite phrase explaning machine learning is 'It's math, not magic." I believe that understanding how algorithm's work is essential to being able to use them correctly. Completing the data science package, I am proficient in SQL, R, Python and Mario Kart. What I love most from being a data professional is empowering stakeholders to utilize and understand the data around them. I have been able to accomplish this not only with modeling, but in creating visualizations and dashboards with an array of BI tools (DOMO, Tableau). Translating data through good visualizations is crucial!In my past life/career, I was a dental hygienist. This experience gave me the ability to connect and communicate with a wide variety of people. In addition to communication, I was able to practice and perfect time management by making sure not only I stayed on schedule, but the dentist too! In my very limited free time (I have a toddler), I like to woodwork. I enjoy creating and working with my hands.
