As Chief People Officer, I lead AffiniPay’s people strategy, focusing on building an engaged and inclusive, high-performing workplace in the fintech, B2B, and SaaS sectors beginning as a founder-led company continuing on through three rounds of private equity investment. As a CPA with a background in public and private accounting and process development, I’ve successfully built finance, accounting, and HR departments from the ground up. I scaled the current team from 25 local employees to a workforce of over 500 domestic and global employees through both steady organic growth and highly transformative M&A. Through the hard work and world-class efforts of our team we have earned recognition as a four-time winner of Austin’s Best Places to Work.I’ve consistently improved employee experience and engagement, maintaining satisfaction scores above 70% during the transition to a hybrid work culture. Additionally, I led the integration of 250 staff coming from four separate companies in under a year, introducing new Core Values, a proprietary performance management system, and key DEI and wellness programs to create a “one-team” culture. My 25+ years of experience in various industries including public accounting, software and hardware networking, payments and financial technology have given me a “big picture” view of people, business, internal controls, compliance and payroll, financial statements and budgets. When I am not “peopling” I love to spend time with my husband, kids and dogs outdoors, hiking, going to estate sales and spending as much time as I can in Arizona which is my happy place!
