This role allows me to support and assist the brand marketing team to conceptualize and execute breakthrough on-air promotional spots, launch campaigns, paid social and digital campaigns.

As a copywriter and content strategist, I ideate big campaign concepts and territories as well as specific executions. In addition, I write copy for taglines, decks, social captions, and scripts.

The scope of the role requires me to coordinate with writers/producers/directors to generate strategy-informed campaigns and content concepts. In addition, I will contribute to the creative development process by screening shows, pulling clips for promo, and writing scripts. My content creation duties include editing content for digital/social channels and writing creative copy to propel the visibility of ABC shows and shape our promotional storytelling.

Working with National Geographic’s Programming and Development team to maintain internal databases, log and transcribe footage, review and QC cuts, and organize production materials.

I was a freelance photo/written contributor to Adolescent Content's online media platform. I wrote about identity, activism and pop culture from a Gen Z lens.

This role allowed me to work with companies like Walmart, Tinder, Getty, and the Biden for President campaign. As a production intern, I coordinated outreach between clients/creators/influencers; scouted and booked shooting locations; tracked production flow (timelines, assets, feedback); gave feedback on video edits; brainstormed brand solutions; conducted research and generated campaign strategies to reach Gen Z audiences. This role started and ended amid quarantine, and thus, my entire experience was virtual. However, I was still able to quickly learn the rhythm of our fast-paced workflow and collaborate with multiple departments a day to keep the production of large-scale projects on track.

I helped to execute a campaign for the nonprofit Pinayista, for whom I also co-produced a PSA aired on national television, handling the edit on all cuts of the video.

I assisted color grading and facilitated post-production flow; managed the booking of freelancers on active productions; and shadowed live audio record sessions (Spanish & English) to provide notes.

I managed the marketing department and developed the social strategy for the Multiplayer web series, a student-led, school-funded production. My duties included: producing social and promotional content, coordinating cast photoshoots, and managing social media channels.

I am a staff photographer and writer with Lithium magazine. My visual work focuses on editorial and documentary photography, while my writing includes personal essays and articles exploring cultural analysis, intersectional identity, and politics.

I created marketing content geared towards small businesses, as well as film-centric articles that live on Vimeo's blog.

I managed, coordinated, copy-edited, and produced written content for The Velocity Company sites, including its Container Box and Rent the Box subsidiaries. I also helped to strategize and produce digital multimedia and blog content.

As a trending news desk intern, I wrote trending and SEO stories (incorporating multimedia and design into stories) and networked across turner platforms. I published 30 stories in 8 weeks (with a handful featured in CNN's newsletter "5 Things”) and am the youngest person to ever write for CNN.com.

While working with VOX I wrote and photographed countless series, which included a 4 article/photo series on the Afropunk Festival which was republished by NPR, as well as an article on the national school walkouts of 2018, and a photo essay on the 2018 PRIDE parade. Eventually, I grew to be a summer intern, editor, staff member, fundraising ambassador, and community outreach coordinator.

It was my job to be the first line of defense for any project issues, whether that be lending a set of eyes to rough drafts and giving editorial support, or helping to coordinate our community engagement events that happened across the city.I also made sure that, in whatever physical workshop we created/facilitated, or any online content (articles, social posts, ads) we consistently communicated a cohesive vision and voice. In the end, I led a team of teen journalists in producing a print issue compiling the long-form content they had worked on through the semester, which was released across the city of Atlanta.

Every day my team and I would create, plan, and facilitate workshops aimed at engaging young people in journalism, while also producing content that would go up on a weekly basis.

As a YAC member, my responsibilities included advocating for the platform digitally as well as adolescent sexual health generally, planning community events, quality control over digital products, think tank-like brainstorming, and ideation of online marketing.
