Orthopedic Physician Assistant specializing in Sports Medicine, Pediatric Orthopedics and general orthopedics. I perform cosmetic wound closures, casting, closed reductions, joint injections and aspirations among other procedures. I am CIC certified for Concussion evaluation and management using ImPACT baseline and post-injury testing. I hold CIC certification for Pediatrics and Adults. In my role as Chief PA, I attend business meetings and serve on committees for both the hospital as well as the practice. I liason with multiple departments including VNA, nursing, PT and OT with a goal of improving quality of care. I assist with the hire and onboarding of new PAs to our practice and develop training plans for new graduates. I am a faculty member at the Tufts University School of Medicine and am in charge of PA students doing their orthopedic rotations. I perform mid and end-of-rotation assessments and sign off skills that students have achieved.
