As the Southwest Florida District Director to United States Senator Rick Scott, my primary responsibilities include overseeing the management and operation of the district office. My territory covers 7 counties in Southwest Florida; to include Collier, Lee, DeSoto, Charlotte, Hendry, Highlands and Glades. I serve as the key liaison to local organizations and elected officials, developing and implementing long-term strategic outreach plans. I attend and organize community events to listen and discuss the Senator’s work and federal happenings. I then share with the Senate DC team all local needs in Southwest Florida. I am responsible for organizing, staffing and providing follow-up for the Senator’s events.

As the Community Relations Coordinator for the Collier County Sheriff's Office, my responsibilities include developing and maintaining cohesive and effective approaches to community outreach services. In addition, implementing and facilitating the Agency's internal and external programs, managing the Agency's Volunteer Deputies duties and training schedules, and coordinating special projects or team missions. I coordinate all external communication with all Agency departments; managing speaking engagements, demonstrations and presentations.

In the role of Director of Development, my duties included creating the Annual Development Plan and Strategy, as well as leading and managing the Development Office to support fundraising and marketing efforts. Responsibilities also included cultivating and nurturing relationships with current and potential corporate and foundation sponsors, as well as individual donors. I also enjoyed developing and promoting school events, activities, and summer school programs.

In this capacity, my responsibilities included managing the Foundation’s programs, including: Leadership Collier, Youth Leadership Collier, Associate Leadership Collier, and Leadership Institute. Additionally, as the VP of the Leadership Collier Foundation I administered the Foundation’s Alumni Association, comprised of over 2,000 graduates to date; and is the primary program contact for the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

As Business Relationship Manager I coordinated participation of Collier County local entrepreneurs and businesses to enhance company revenues and promote business expansion and retention through the EDC’s Grow Collier program. My responsibilities included recruiting participants for the Economic Gardening and Entrepreneur Training Initiatives, coordinating PeerSpectives Roundtables and Nexus Forums with local Chief Executive Officers, and facilitating the application process for GrowFL Direct Technical Assistance Consulting Program.In addition, I coordinated the Business of the Month program, a partnership between the EDC and the Collier County Board of County Commissioners to showcase local talent and worked in coordination with the Small Business Coalition to assist in placing growth companies into the Kauffman Foundation FastTrac Program of Entrepreneurship.
