Teaching is my passion. I have been fortunate enough to work with kids in some capacity for the past 10 years. I began my career working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I developed and implemented programming based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in the home and school environment. Through this experience I discovered my love of teaching and pursued my M.Ed in Special Education from Notre Dame College. During my graduate program I received my K-12 Reading Endorsement. Upon graduating, I began my career as an Intervention Specialist at Dunbar Primary School in Tallmadge, OH. I have had the opportunity to teach in a Multiple Disabilities resource room as well as work alongside General Education teachers in inclusion classrooms. My current role is co-teaching in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. I am grateful that I get to do what I love every day!
