Nordstrom is a premium fashion retailer operating more than 350 department stores in the United States and Canada under Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and other retail brands.In 2017, I was promoted to head a new organization that is charged with architecting the company’s next-generation supply chain strategy to transform the fulfillment and reverse logistics operations. In this capacity, I oversee a matrixed team of 18 functional and business leaders defining and executing strategic roadmaps for the redesign of Nordstrom’s brick-and-mortar and e-commerce service networks, enhancing internal capabilities through the deployment of automated “omnichannel” fulfillment centers integrated into the nationwide store network and transportation systems. Over the past two years, we have been successful in aligning our business leaders, technical teams, 3PL providers, and stakeholders on our goals, best practices, customer experience, and solutions in support of the new service delivery model. As Group Manager, Product Manager, I was tasked with directing the 360º integration of our acquired subsidiaries HauteLook (2011) and Trunk Club (2014) into Nordstrom’s global supply chain and operations ecosystems.
