Business Analyst 3
CurrentI'm currently the Product Owner for the Costco Mobile App and a business analyst for eCommerce. I work in the Agile world as the PO to the business stakeholder(s) for the project and am responsible to facilitate steering committee meetings, document business requests, respond quickly to project blockers, write User Stories, manage the backlog and keep the product backlog prioritized based on business and IT leadership need for my team. I manage backlog grooming and refinement for sprint planning and prioritizing stories based on customer feedback to streamline the execution of project priorities while maintaining integrity of the features. During sprints, I share the customer vision with the team, identify gaps and generally find answers and solve blockers to get to done. For the final phase, QA and I plan and execute the Demo/UAT the stakeholders. The stakeholders give final acceptance for the product/feature that will effectively addresses business needs.In addition: I Support Costco's high level strategic plan to build a 5 star Costco App.Analysis of IS strategic plan & development required to support the Costco business units in eCommerce and as the Costco app matures. Segments of business include: Ecom, Photo and Pharmacy, call center, roadshows and gas. Additional tasks include, aligning with the user experience UX team to meet the mobile app plan to support Costco Member expectations of the app to be a beneficial user experience.Lastly, as the PO I'm managing my time on projects with new Costco business areas and supporting their participation or addition of their segment of the business into the app.
