The graphics industry has always interested me even at a time I didn’t realize it could be a potential career path I would take. I have also enjoyed design of many different types from my earliest idea of a career in interior design to the artwork of friends and others in graphic design classes I was a part of. Creating, being a common trait of everything I have enjoyed doing and experiencing throughout my life, was a perfect way to find the printing and graphics industry. I like working with others to complete a task or reach a common goal. The satisfaction of seeing the final product of a project has always kept me going in my cross-media courses in my college career at UW-Stout. Being in the Cross-Media Graphics Management major has given me a wide variety of new skills and knowledge incorporating pre-flight, design and graphics, printing processes and operations, post-press operations, project management, and marketing techniques. I believe that my experience in college along with the customer service and teamwork skills I gained at my near three years at Kwik Trip will all come together to help me find that career path I have been looking for from the very beginning.
