Worked hand-in-hand with the QA Manager at a thermal processing food plant, to ensure product quality and product safety consistent with corporate and our customer objectives. Assisted the QA Manager in maintaining the plant's Quality System Manual to assure that all policies and procedures are current and effective. Wrote quality assurance procedures and trained QA staff on any new procedures or changes. Observed and participated in external and internal audits. Worked with the warehouse department and Oracle system to maintain raw ingredient inbound shipments matched customer specifications including microbiological tests. Helped QA manager review all daily paperwork. Implemented SQF edition 7.2 into the facility.
