As curator, I am responsible for the development and management of the collection through acquisitions, deaccessions, and artifact documentation. In this role, I conduct research for exhibitions and other museum products, as well as verify the accuracy of content for internal and external partners. I am currently curating an exhibition on the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Cold War, which is scheduled to open in April 2024. I am also leading research initiatives related to women in the RCAF and in air traffic control. My hope is to further develop the museum's collection in these areas.

At the moment, the primary focus of my research activities is the history of air traffic control (ATC). I am currently curating an exhibition on the air navigation system and ATC in Canada. I am also leading research initiatives related to gender integration in the RCAF. My hope is to further develop the museum's collection in this area.

As the Assistant Curator of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, I conduct research for museum projects and exhibitions. I also help develop and manage the collection through acquisitions and deaccessions.Current Projects at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum: I am continuing work on updates to the museum's permanent gallery. The next update will be to the First World War exhibition area. I curated Life in Orbit: The International Space Station, which opened in June 2015. I conducted research for, co-wrote and curated a mobile application called Ace Academy: Black Flight. It is a flying game set during the First World War and is based on the operational history of No. 10 Squadron of the Royal Naval Air Service. It launched in December 2015.Most recently, I curated Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience. It is a 10, 000 square foot interactive environment which invites visitors to spend some time at Starfleet Academy and discover which career path they might pursue if accepted as a cadet. The experience features artifacts from the permanent collection of CBS and a private collector based in Germany.I am currently conducting research on aircraft manufacturing in Canada during the First World War.

The Departmental Consultative Group works in partnership with the City of Ottawa's Heritage Division, working on various projects at the Nepean Museum: promoting awareness, audience development, exhibition development and collection management, among other things.In addition to the regular activities of the DCG, I am on the Exhibition Committee and the Oral History Project Committee, providing insight and direction for various projects.

I worked as a Research Assistant for the Curator of Physical Sciences and Medicine and the Curator of Agriculture and Food. I conducted research on artifacts, and wrote both acquisition and deaccession proposals.

Research project on domestic technology (washing machines); recommending items in the collection for deaccessioning; assessing the historical significance of items in the collection

I conducted an intensive site-specific research project for the re-interpretation of Commissariat House Provincial Historic Site. The project involves a multi-level study of the early nineteenth century operations of the Commissariat Department in Newfoundland. I wrote a 110 page report compiling that research.
