Working in the lab of Mike Green, I am interested in CD8+ T cell fate and function in cancer. My research is focused on identifying genetic regulators which cause T cell dysfunction and better understanding if modulating these factors can improve the efficacy of immunotherapy.

Researched Leishmaniasis in vitro and in mouse models to investigate immune mechanisms of the diseases as well as drug treatments and vaccine development.

Assisted with sample processing and testing.

Researched Leishmaniasis in vitro and in mouse models to investigate immune mechanisms of the diseases as well as drug treatments and vaccines. Completed a thesis project investigating the role of microRNA-21 in exacerbating Leishmania donovani infection through inhibition of the early Th1 immune responses.

Worked with HPV/EBV positive cell lines to understand mechanisms behind the progression of oral malignancies.
