Working independently on the EFL Headstart Programme with children across 5 schools, providing mental health support in the transition from Primary to Secondary School. Mainly focusing on improving self-esteem and negative thoughts, reducing anxiety and building confidence. Also, working on other programmes such as Fit Families – improving the physical and mental health of families, Dementia Walking Football – social sports sessions for those affected by dementia, Salford Social – group activity sessions aiming to decrease loneliness in the older community and the Family Wellbeing Programme – working with families to improve their relationships and mental wellbeing.

Providing one-to-one support to ex-prisoners on licence, integrating them back into the community. Arranging weekly meetings to set out an action plan and complete goals relating to housing / employment / mental and physical health etc. Conducting regular assessments of wellbeing and stability. Communicating with Probation Officers.

Supervising groups of students in the classroom and on school trips and looking after children who were upset or unwell. Arranging creative activities for the pupils during special occasions (Easter / Christmas etc). Encouraging and assisting pupils in need of extra support. Preparing learning materials and tidying up after lessons.
